Take The Worry Out Of Living Alone.

Lifeline makes it safer to be home alone, 24 hours a day. Iraan General Hospital offers the Lifeline Emergency Response System to individuals wanting to live more independently at home.

Lifeline is an easy-to-use medical alert service designed to reduce the risks of living alone. In the event of a fall or emergency, help is available at the push of a button. The Lifeline Personal Help Button connects you to response personnel who can send help quickly--- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Professional caring assistance, right when you need it. If you need emergency services, press your "help" button, worn as a necklace or as a "watch" on your wrist. This will summon help and you will hear the reassuring voice of a trained Lifeline associate. This individual will access your profile, (information entered in the computer), and assess the situation. Trained associates will contact a neighbor, family member, an ambulance or emergency services, based on your needs. They can dispatch assistance, retrieve relevant medical information from your profile, and even let emergency personnel know if you have a pet, all while you're still on the line. Personnel will remain on the phone line talking to you until someone has arrived in your home to help. Lifeline personnel will follow up to confirm that help has arrived.

During an emergency, every second counts. In an emergency, delayed medical care can jeopardize your recovery. If you are alone, you never know how long it will be before someone realizes you need help. Help at the push of a button can reduce these risks. So, don't wait for a fall or medical emergency.

We also have an additional option called AutoAlert that automatically places the call for help if a fall is detected and you are unable to push your button. AutoAlert is an added layer of protection in cases where someone can't push the help button due to injury or shock of a fall. It can be used if you or your family member are confused or forget to use the button, has seizures or just won't call for help to avoid bothering others.

Cell phones are convenient but they are not a good option during a fall or emergency in the home. The Lifeline alert service never needs to be charged, is waterproof, remains on a subscriber 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is ready to call for help-with or without the push of a button. It is designed to be with the client every step of the way.

Home is where the heart is. Your home is where you're most comfortable, surrounded by everything that's familiar. But, for seniors, it is estimated that more than half of all falls that result in injury happen at home. More than 13 million adults over the age of 65 will fall this year. That's 1 fall every 2.4 seconds. IGH in partnership with Philips can help you maintain your independence, and also give your family peace of mind.
